Nice Job!
The SWSC
2008 Season
comes to a
close after
a
spectacular
10-race
series
ranging from
Denton, TX
on the
eastern edge
of our range
to Tucson,
AZ on the
western
side. Only
one rain out
(Midland #2)
and one
postponement
due to
Hurricane
Ike (Abilene
#2). And the
points
shuffled at
Race
10 Denton.
Greg Powell
secured #2
Points
position
just by
making a
qualifying
pass. And
Mike Jones
moved from
#6 to #4 by
winning the
last event,
jumping over
Sue Stringer
and
Andy Mears,
squeezing
him out of
the Top 5 by
ONE
POINT!
Julian Moody
won the SWSC
2008
Championship
for an
outrageous
fifth
straight
year. By
winning
seven out of
ten races,
Moody and
Team were
virtually
unreachable
by Race 8
Tucson/SIR.
Way Cool!
Thanks for
staying with
us through
2008. We
hope
you enjoyed
us as much
as we
enjoyed
doing it.
Stick
around, 8.
to 10 race
dates are
already shaping
up for the
SWSC in
2009,
including
Hobbs,
Albuquerque
and El Paso!
